Our Commitment

We stand behind the quality of CELPIP Simulator. If you're not satisfied with your first purchase, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on eligible plans — no questions asked. Contact us at support@celpipsimulator.com within 7 days of your purchase and we will process your refund within 5–10 business days.

1. Plans Eligible for a Refund

The 7-day money-back guarantee applies to the following plans on their first purchase only:

  • Intensive Pass ($129 CAD / 12 weeks) — First purchase only.
  • Monthly Pass ($49 CAD / month) — First month only. Subsequent renewals are non-refundable (see Section 3).

2. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a refund, all of the following conditions must be met at the time of your request:

  • Within 7 calendar days of your payment date (the date the charge appeared on your statement, not the date you first logged in).
  • Fewer than 5 complete practice exams taken on your account since purchase.
  • Fewer than 5 video lessons watched on your account since purchase.
  • First purchase only — the refund guarantee applies once per account, on your very first paid transaction.
  • Your account must be in good standing and not flagged for any violation of our Terms of Service.

All five conditions must be met simultaneously. Partial eligibility does not qualify for a refund.

3. Non-Refundable Plans and Situations

The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

  • Lifetime Access ($229 CAD) — All sales are final. This is clearly disclosed at checkout before purchase is completed.
  • Monthly Pass renewal charges — Only the first month is covered by the guarantee. Recurring monthly charges are non-refundable. Cancel before your next billing date to avoid future charges.
  • Requests made after 7 calendar days from the payment date.
  • Accounts that have used 5 or more practice exams since purchase.
  • Accounts that have watched 5 or more video lessons since purchase.
  • Second or subsequent purchases — the guarantee applies to the first paid transaction per account only.
  • Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, send an email to support@celpipsimulator.com with the following information:

  • The email address registered to your account
  • The date of your purchase
  • The plan you purchased (Intensive Pass or Monthly Pass)
  • A brief reason for the request (optional, but helpful)

We will review your request, verify eligibility, and respond within 1–2 business days. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.

5. What Happens After a Refund Is Processed

  • Your access to all paid features (practice exams, video lessons, AI feedback, analytics) is immediately revoked upon approval of your refund request.
  • Your account is downgraded to the FREE plan, retaining access to only the 2 free practice exams included in the free tier.
  • Any Monthly Pass auto-renewal is cancelled as part of the refund process. You will not be charged again.
  • Exam results and feedback you already received remain accessible in your account history.

6. Cancelling Your Monthly Pass

Cancellation and refund are two different things:

  • Cancellation stops future automatic renewal charges. You retain access until the end of your current paid billing period. No refund is issued for the remaining days. You can cancel anytime from Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel.
  • Refund (first month only, within 7 days) returns the payment already made and immediately ends your access.

To avoid being charged for a renewal month, cancel your subscription before your next billing date. We do not refund charges that have already processed for renewal months.

7. Referral Credits and Discounts

If you used a referral code at checkout and received a discount:

  • The refund amount is the amount you actually paid (after the discount), not the full plan price.
  • The referrer's commission for your purchase will be reversed if a refund is issued within the 7-day window.

8. Refund Abuse Prevention

We reserve the right to decline refund requests if we detect a pattern of abuse, including but not limited to:

  • Creating multiple accounts to claim multiple refunds
  • Providing false information in a refund request
  • Repeatedly purchasing and immediately requesting refunds
  • Using the platform extensively before requesting a refund in a manner inconsistent with the stated reason

Accounts found to be abusing the refund policy may be permanently suspended.

9. Disputes and Chargebacks

We strongly encourage you to contact us directly at support@celpipsimulator.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved quickly and directly.

Initiating an unjustified chargeback may result in suspension of your account and could affect your eligibility for future purchases on the platform.
